Who should attend
Built around your everyday decisions.
Service-business owners, managers and teams across the Safer Pros network, from skilled trades and cleaning to property and professional services.
Before the session
Bring a current estimate, website headline and customer message with private details removed. Ask three past customers why they chose you and what nearly stopped them. If unavailable, use the Harbor Home Services classroom case.
The curriculum
Learn it. Practice it. Apply it.
01
A clear reason to choose you
A business performs work and earns revenue.
Your practice: Identify one customer group, its buying situation and a recurring concern. Write one reason that group could choose your company. Name the evidence you have and the question you still need to ask.
02
A promise your team can deliver
Positioning guides internal decisions.
Your practice: Draft a positioning statement and a customer-facing promise of no more than 25 words. Define one observable service standard and a fallback if the usual owner is unavailable.
03
Evidence that earns trust
Match each important claim to evidence that is current and relevant to its scope.
Your practice: Audit three claims from your website or estimate. For each, record supporting evidence, permission, review owner and the decision to retain, revise or remove it.
04
Consistency at every customer contact
A brand becomes credible through repeated interactions.
Your practice: Audit your website, phone response, estimate, jobsite handoff and follow-up. Find the most serious gap between your promise and the actual experience. Assign a correction with a due date.
05
A brand that works beyond the owner
The company needs shared standards that people can use without asking the founder every time.
Your practice: Assign one brand owner and one standard to test. Set a baseline, a 90-day trial, a day-60 review and a day-90 decision. Write what evidence would lead you to continue, revise or stop.
Two ways to learn
A focused introduction. A workshop to put it into practice.
90-minute introduction
Understand the core ideas, work through an example and complete one business tool. A focused option for networking groups and team meetings.
Includes: guided discussion, a worksheet and a next-step commitment. Attendance acknowledgment only.
One-time tuition per person, in USD, before applicable tax. Member pricing requires verified active Safer Pros membership.
Make the next 90 days count.
Set a baseline, choose an owner, test a change and review the result. Select measures relevant to your business:
Promise delivery rate: jobs meeting the chosen service standard / eligible completed jobs, measured over the same period.
Message understanding: interviewees who accurately describe your intended difference / all interviewees asked the same question.
Qualified inquiry conversion: won opportunities / qualified inquiries from a defined cohort. Record price, lead source and capacity changes alongside results.
Workshop rhythm
Opening and case study; five teaching and practice modules; application lab; knowledge check; action planning.
The four-hour format includes 220 instructional minutes and two ten-minute breaks. Course examples are educational and do not guarantee financial or business results.
Request information for upcoming public sessions or private company training. We will confirm dates, instructor, format, tuition and participant terms before you enroll. Submitting an inquiry does not reserve a seat or charge a payment.
What does the completion certificate mean?
The four-hour workshop requires all 220 instructional minutes, at least four of five knowledge-check answers correct, and all four capstone criteria met. Coaching and reassessment are available. The certificate documents course completion; it does not provide a professional license, CEU credit, accreditation or Safer Pros provider verification.
Can our whole team attend?
Yes. Request private company training and include your location, preferred format and approximate group size. Examples can be adapted to your service category.
What if I need an accommodation?
Contact info@saferpros.com with your participation needs. We can discuss accessible materials and alternatives to verbal role-play before the session.
