The curriculum
Customers judge a service through a sequence of handoffs.
Your practice: Map six stages of one real service. Mark two handoffs that generate repeat questions. Assign an owner and a useful message to each.
A good service message states what is confirmed, what changed, what the customer needs to do and when the next update will occur.
Your practice: Write an appointment confirmation, a delay update and a completion message. A partner marks any ambiguous time, unsupported promise or missing next step.
When a customer raises a concern, listen without arguing, summarize the issue and clarify the desired resolution.
Your practice: Role-play the first two minutes of a complaint call. Then create a recovery record with facts, requested outcome, owner, next contact and escalation.
Invite feedback consistently after meaningful service milestones.
Your practice: Rewrite "Give us five stars for a discount" into a neutral feedback request without an incentive. Define a repeat-booking metric and design a 30-day follow-up experiment.
